Charlie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Human Development at Washington State University. She then received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Washington. She is accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.&nbsp;Practicing full-scope midwifery in Spokane since 2017, Charlie feels it is a true honor and joy to be welcomed into the lives of each unique human she has worked with, both in and outside of pregnancy. She strives to provide gentle, personalized, whole-person care and aims to approach every interaction with kindness and humility. A lifelong student, Charlie is a firm believer in learning something from everyone she meets. Her patients describe her as warm, welcoming, dedicated, and kind.

I have a BSN from Washington State University (WSU) College of Nursing and a MSN from Frontier Nursing University. I am continuing my studies with Frontier into a Doctor of Nursing Practice. I have been a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives since 2020. I'm certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.After graduating from Frontier, I waited for a position that would allow my family and I to stay planted in the Spokane community where we have flourished. During that time I traveled to the Marshall Islands to learn more about the health, language, and culture of our Marshall Islander population in Spokane. In the fall, I started working for WSU College of Nursing as a Community Health Nursing Clinical Instructor. When I received an offer for a role at Quilted Health I was thrilled! I'm so excited to have the opportunity to serve women and families in the Inland Northwest in this new capacity.I am passionate about supporting the gyn care and birth journey that is right for you! I'm here to serve as a guide and give you the information you need to make the best choice for you and your family. Central to her practice philosophy is that care should be a partnership between midwife and client. She endeavors to meet each person where they are, and to provide a judgement-free zone. This approach is foundational to developing a plan that provides education, promotes health, and ensures safety, with clear communication as a central focus. Fleur practices with a direct approach, is a great listener, and works to facilitate an experience that supports each unique individual and family. She is delighted to join Quilted Midwives!Married 18 years, Fleur is a proud Mom of an adult son, and a high-school senior daughter. Outside of the office Fleur enjoys being with family. She has studied martial arts and has a purple belt in karate. A music-lover, she plays violin, having played multiple concerts with the Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra. She might ski in the winter, but most often day-dreams of swimming, anywhere, especially at ANY beach.

I started my birth work journey by receiving BirthArts Doula training. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bemidji State University in Northern Minnesota and obtained a DNP in Nurse Midwifery at the University of Minnesota. I then completed a Nurse Midwife Fellowship at the University of Utah. I am board certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. I have 7 years of full scope midwifery experience.

Holly attended her Master's program at the University of California, San Francisco, graduating as a midwife in 2014. She practiced for her first three years at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, which was a beautiful and humbling experience. After a few stopovers in Colorado and Idaho, she is now settled in Spokane with this team of intelligent, capable, and loving midwives. She is grateful to be part of a community that values evidence-based and compassionate care so highly, and works to serve every client with a personalized, empathetic approach.&nbsp;Her clients and community would describe her as grounded, kind, non-judgmental, and often irreverent!&nbsp;

As a new RN, Jane moved back to her hometown of Spokane to follow love. She worked in the Emergency Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center—the hospital where she was born, as the department’s first new grad RN. This trauma nursing background was a diversion from her path to midwifery but has shaped who she is a provider forever: Jane is a calm in a storm. During this time she went back to graduate school, and completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Midwifery. Upon graduation, she joined an out-of-hospital midwifery practice with a Licensed Midwife, and together they shared a practice at a free-standing birth center and offering home-birth midwifery care. She later joined a hospital midwifery practice with her current colleagues and was back again at Sacred Heart caring for her community with a supportive team of midwives and obstetricians. This team is now together at Quilted Health and is working to expand this incredible model of comprehensive midwifery care to the greater Spokane community.&nbsp;Jane is the kind of midwife who strives to personalize your birth experience. She believes your birth is a careful, crucial, intense (though comparatively brief!) time in your life where the atmosphere and support around you can shape the kind of parent you become. This is what shapes our next generation and, in turn, our world. Jane knows each birthing person and birth story deserves sincere respect, unfaltering support, and expert medical care.

Julie earned her Associate of Nursing through Spokane Community Colleges followed by her Masters of Nursing in Midwifery through Frontier Nursing University. She is accredited through the American College of Nurse Midwives and certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society, National Association of Women's Health Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Julie has been a midwife since 2016 and had the privilege of beginning her midwifery career in an out-of-hospital home birth and birth center practice. Working outside of hospital gave Julie the opportunity to experience birth in an empowering, family centered environment.&nbsp;Working since 2018 in a local community health clinic and hospital birthing has allowed and encouraged Julie to grow in supporting all birthing families. Julie believes that each birth is extraordinary and important, no matter which birth, 1st, 10th, or 20th, and birthing persons and families should be supported with compassion and equity, acknowledging the beauty and uniqueness of each birth. She is excited to join the the Quilted Health midwives in providing full scope family centered, client centered, pregnancy and women's health care.

Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University's College of Nursing and her doctorate in nursing practice in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Washington. She is accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.&nbsp; Lisa has lived in and served the Spokane community as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Sacred Heart Medical Center for 8 years. She enjoys providing clients with the education they need to empower them to make decisions that align with their goals. It’s been her privilege to walk alongside families at some of their most joyful and also most painful moments in life. She’s honored to be trusted with this role.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her practice inquiry and quality review work have been unique highlights in her career. During graduate school she was involved in developing a program called “Free to Succeed,” which expanded pre-release contraception access to offenders leaving the women’s prison system in Washington State. More recently, she was a member of Washington State’s first multidisciplinary Maternal Mortality Review Board for three years with the Department of Health. This board evaluates maternal deaths throughout the state to determine root causes and work on creating recommendations for preventative strategies. Locally, she serves on the hospital’s Obstetric Quality Review Committee and is the first midwife to be included in this important work. She is honored to lead this team of midwives in growing access to midwifery care in the community.

Morgan has worked with Friends of Michigan Midwives to further state licensure efforts, volunteered at MomsBloom in Michigan to aid parents in the day-to-day life of the immediate postpartum period, and offered birth doula and placenta encapsulation services to her communities. She is a Licensed Midwife in Washington State, a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives, and a professional member of the Midwives' Association of Washington State (MAWS).Morgan believes that pregnancy is a transitional and vulnerable time where people deserve to be treated with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and love. She has supported hundreds of families through the childbearing year and has attended births in homes, birth centers, and hospitals. Morgan’s clients would describe her as compassionate, non-judgmental, easygoing, and attentive. I am nationally certified and hold an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting with an emphasis in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have been working in the field for over five years. I have Professional Birth Doula and Lactation Education training in addition to a foundation in phlebotomy (blood draws). During my career, I have had the privilege of working in different specialties with the spirit of education being at the center. I have overseen an outreach pregnancy clinic for underserved people that included extensive case management and varying degrees of social work, lead a specialty gynecology team, mentored at-risk teen girls, and supported families as they traverse the challenges of parenting.My clients would describe my care as proficient, calming, and encouraging while describing me as good-natured, bright and compassionate. I strive to be a beacon of light that shines through even the seemingly darkest of nights, so that each person I encounter may be reminded that they are never alone in this world.I am a mixed media artist, photographer and herbal apothecary. My work infuses elements of the earth with natural soaps for overall wellness. I am a Spokane native with four beautiful children. My littles and I enjoy creating all kinds of art together, nature excursions, Disney movies, baking, and dance parties.

When Leah was led to the Quilted Health employment posting for a medical assistant, she felt it was written intentionally, with her in mind. “Quilted Health, its mission, and the opportunity to provide meaningful, compassionate, and equitable care for all was exactly what I had been looking for. I'm fortunate to have found an environment that advocates for client autonomy and caring for whole people.”In addition to her career in healthcare, Leah enjoys camping, road trips, gardening, foraging, wildcrafting, and rockhounding. She has a knack for speaking truth to power when necessary. "I am passionate about meeting people where they are and assisting them to access the information and resources they need to make informed, autonomous decisions. I am so grateful to be part of such a dedicated and delightful team providing delightful care.”

I attended Carrington College and graduated in 2017. I have been working with Midwives ever since. My drive for this field is a passion for me. I am currently working on my Doula certification as well.I hope clients would describe me as caring, kind and empathetic. I hope that they feel heard and know I'm always here for a hug if they need one.

Samantha has been working in women’s health since 2018. She previously worked at Planned Parenthood and as a medical assistant and phlebotomist, giving her a strong background in gynecological care and family planning. She loves getting to help people feel welcome and comfortable in their care, especially those with anxiety in a healthcare setting. Samantha moved to Spokane in 2010 to be closer to her extended family and enjoys the outdoor activities around the city. When she’s not at the clinic, Samantha spends her time with her 3 wonderful children as well as family and friends. She typically spends weekends and free time attending her kids sporting events or hiking and camping.

Steffany found it difficult to obtain a position as a Labor and Delivery nurse as a new graduate. She spent a couple of years as the clinic nurse for a busy Family Practice office. The clinic was a start up and she loved being able to have a hand in developing the nursing role there, but still longed to find a position in the field she was passionate about. Eventually, she was able to join Providence Holy Family on Family Maternity Center and dedicated over 18 years of her career there in a LDRP setting. She absolutely loved her job and cherished the opportunity to care for people during what often was a very vulnerable time in their lives. Nearly all of that time was spent working night shift and she came to a point in her life where she knew she was ready for a change.When she saw the posting for Perinatal Care Coordinator at Quilted Health, she felt like it was a sign. It was an opportunity to combine her clinic experience with her obstetrical expertise in a role that was a better fit for her family and life. She feels blessed to be joining Quilted Health and the Spokane team and looks forward to collaborating with the midwives in order to provide care in a way that is meaningful and meets the client where they are.
