About Hannah
I wanted to be a midwife because I thought that birth was the most beautiful and profound thing in life. I have dedicated my career to supporting mothers and families as they navigate this process. I practice evidenced-based care while maintaining the principles of midwifery care including celebrating the natural life cycles of women and families, honoring the normality of physiologic processes, engaging in shared decision-making, and using human presence and relationships to enhance wellness and satisfaction.
I started my birth work journey by receiving BirthArts Doula training. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bemidji State University in Northern Minnesota and obtained a DNP in Nurse Midwifery at the University of Minnesota. I then completed a Nurse Midwife Fellowship at the University of Utah. I am board certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. I have 7 years of full scope midwifery experience.
