Quilted Health Acquires SLB Billing

This letter was sent to SLB Billing customers in August 2023.

After 27 years of supporting midwives and their clients with billing, insurance contracts, and payments, I am excited to announce SLB Billing has been acquired by Quilted Health, a mission-driven organization focused on supporting midwives in providing high quality care to their communities. The goal of this partnership is to enhance the services we already provide you by developing tools and solutions for the unique business workflows of community-based midwives.

I want to assure you that our fees to you and your clients will not be increasing. Our entire team has moved as one unit to Quilted Health. The only changes will be exciting new offerings to make our work together more efficient and pleasurable for everyone.

Quilted also recently acquired a longstanding midwife-centered electronic health records company, Maternity Neighborhood. This powerful combination of technology and services will promote sustainability for midwives and support the quality of care they offer to their communities.

Quilted’s mission and values are very much aligned with those of SLB, and their services have been inclusive of both CNMs and CPMs from the start of their operations (based in Washington State). I am excited for this opportunity to grow and further invest in the midwifery community as a whole.
